A great winter warmer and comfort food that doesn’t have to be super calorific. Also the perfect type of dish to cook up a load of and prep for the week or freeze for times of need!
800g lean steak mince (2 big packs)
2 tins chopped tomatoes
800g potato (approx. 4)
salt, pepper, stock cube, tomato puree, garlic, worcestershire sauce
splash of skimmed milk
Fry off the mince and add veggies, salt, pepper and garlic. Once browned add the tinned toms, stock cube, tomato puree and worcestershire sauce, Simmer for 10 – 20 mins.
Whack the potatoes in the microwave until cooked, smash up with the milk, salt and pepper.
Layer up in an oven proof dish and cook for 30 – 40 minutes on around 180 degrees C.
